”Thank you Académie Francis Poulenc for two incredible weeks! It has been a joy to work with all of the teachers, to meet such amazing people and to learn so much about French mélodie. I’m also very happy for my collaboration with the excellent pianist Haruyo Semba. The academy was finished with a concert in beautiful Noizay, where I was happy to sing Tirésias aria from Les Mamelles de Tirésias by Poulenc. Before the concert, we visited Le Grand Coteau, Poulencs beautiful house. I could definitely feel the spirit of Poulenc during the concert!Thank you François Le Roux for the invitation, it is always a pleasure to work with you. And a big thank you to all of the teachers, you are all amazing! Before, and also during the academy, I had plenty of singing lessons with my professor Lena Hellström-Färnlöf on zoom. It made me feel even more well prepared and in good shape before and through out the academy. I’m deeply grateful for that.Now, I’m excited to start the Chamber opera program at the Academy of Music and Opera, Mälardalen university tomorrow. I’m looking forward to everything this fall has to offer!”
