We connected again last summer during an online workshop and I was astonished at the quality of teaching she was able to provide online. We have now been working closely together (even while miles away) for a few months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her vast understanding of the singing mechanisms is irrefutable, but only now that I am teaching as well can I begin to understand the subtleties of her teaching approach. There is a reason behind every exercise she teaches, but she somehow manages to make them feel like the most natural and instinctive steps towards expressivity. She adapts her language to the singer she meets. She brings enough energy and love for music in the room to heal any doubt or tiredness. She is deeply supportive and engaged in her student\u2019s development. Studying with her is inspiring and empowering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She helped me get rid of jaw tension through a deeper connection with my breathing mechanism, we built a comfortable laryngeal position in my mid-low register that then allowed me to expand a healthy high register that I didn\u2019t access as successfully before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Rose Naggar-Tremblay is a graduate from the Op\u00e9ra de Montr\u00e9al young artist program, l\u2019Atelier lyrique.
